Somebody once said that history rehashes itself. A portion of the design outfits which are
inclining hugely have been given to us by our predecessors and have been rehashed again after
noteworthy time frames.
The flared jeans were initially worn in the 1800s by naval force men, since it was less demanding for them to remove them when they got wet. At that point, flared pants involved in form again in the 70s (the hippie movement and disco period). Nowadays, flared trousers can be seen all over the runways rivalling tight fitted pants.
Crop tops were known as bolero tops in the 40s and 50s. This trend peaked again in the 70s during the hippie movement and then began to slowly decline, until came the year 2007. It was during this year, that we can pinpoint the revival of crop tops in fashion once again.
Surprisingly the first variation of turtlenecks can be dated back to the 13th and 14th century, otherwise known as the medieval times. The turtlenecks would be worn under armour etc as an extra layer to protect the skin from the hard material used in defensive clothing. This style of neckline reappeared in the 50s and 60s and was considered to be worn by scholars and the likes. Nowadays, turtlenecks are a piece of mainstream apparel and have evolved in to a more modern design.
