Sixteen ladies who battled breast cancer or are currently combating it, met up to walk the run way and impacted the world forever at the NY Fashion Week. AnaOno, a brand made by breast cancer survivor Dana Donofree, put on a moving runway show to highlight the quality of the ladies who have battled or are battling with this disease.

She understood that conventional bras were difficult to wear for these survivors and consequently she chose to outline bras for ladies battling with this disease. Dana Donofree joined forces with a non-benefit association #cancerland to make the runway appearance.

Through this show, she demonstrated that whether you have breasts or not or whether you have scars or tattoos rather than nipples, it doesn’t make a difference. According to her, all of this is sexy and empowering. All the cash raised from the ticket of this was given to #cancerland to help the ladies battling breast cancer.

She took this as a chance to help these ladies feel somewhat better about themselves. A few of the women even went topless or wore body paint, some wore bras, and some had gone through reconstructive surgery. These women spoke to various ages and races, demonstrating that the disease can touch any life.
