Anju Modi cited “ the collection is an architecture inspired which is timeless, vintage, handicraft and

organic. A juxtaposition of floral motifs and organic elements with structural silhouettes and design

details of the minarets.”

She always takes up challenging designs keeping in mind the handicrafts of India, thus keeping a

balance of traditional and modern elements. Anju Modi always believes in simplicity. Going back to theroots of the Indian society, finding some interesting designs and techniques and converting them into something new and different is all about her style.

Anju modi quoted “Neelambar is an outtake of the legacy of our rich textile, an attempt to weave the traditional knowledge and skills of our master craftsmen and threads of modernity.”

The pieces were like writing a poem, complex yet simple. Crafted by some of India’s finest artisans, thefine leather jutis speak the charm of the true old school artisan. The collection was inspired by the

symphony of the sky at night. The show featured Sakshi Tanwar as the showstopper.

Intricate embroidery and saris with detailed work made a statement. The collection was mainly in

colors of indigo, black, navy blue and vintage shades.
