First transgender bride to be featured on Say Yes to the Dress

Trans people should be treated and respected just like everyone else. The popular wedding show, Say Yes to the Dress will be featuring a transgender bride named Gibson for the very first time.

Gibson was proposed by a transgender man Jaden, her fiance. She knew that the show was looking for"to-be" brides. She submitted her application without any hopes or expectations and surprisingly got

selected.

Gibson also told people in an interview that “This whole wedding, getting engaged and dress shopping with my mom - it has been such an amazing feeling for me because as a trans woman I never thought that I would ever get married.”

She is really excited for her big day and at the same time, very emotional. She never had expected

that anything of this sort would ever happen to her because of the way people treated her.

By coming on this show, Gibson will be able to help the trans community feel good about themselves. She also quoted that ‘Trans people can love and be loved as well.”
