The debate over the term “Nepotism” started ever since Kagna Ranaut used this term in Koffee with
Karan and accused him for promoting it. Since thenmedia started questioning many on screen actors
about it and each one of them has various opinions about this.
One of the most positive opinion we got was from Nawazuddin Siddqui.
He started his career as a theatre actor and continued on doing low budget movies for a long time. Its only now that he has started receiving his fair share of recognition and fame. Thus one may think, that Nawazuddin may have a lot to say about nepotism as a negative factor that exists in Bollywood.
But his statement was completely different of what was expected. He cited “ I don’t think nepotism
exists in Bollywood otherwise I could not have been in this position today. Good work and talent may
take the time to get recognized but always earns respect. ”

Rajkumar Rao, another terrific performing artist
who has done some incredible work in Bollywood
was also asked about his views on Nepotism.
Considering, that he also doesn’t belong to any
reputed Bollywood background, would have a lot
to say about nepotism.
Here is what he quoted “ I love watching talented actors on screen, I don’t mind if they’re somebody’sson or daughter in the industry. I want to see talenton screen. The problem would be if they are not
talented an they are still on screen, then that’s not fair! So, if someone is worthy and talented, then
why not? I have no problem with that.”
