Beauty of sex

In some culture sex is considered as taboo and was just a activity to give birth, but in Indian

context it was considered as a holy activity symbolized by ‘Shivlinga’ this symbol of creation has

lower circular part as vigaina of parvati and cylindrical part as linga of shiva.

This symbol has been worshiped since thousand of years and taken as god, it was also

appreciated and celebrated in ancient india wen erotic sculptures were sculpted, lots of sex

positions, their explanations and benefits were discussed wisely by Vatsayayan in a book

‘Kamasutra’

It was also taken as an art where two bodies together create a new life, also it’s a form of two

body and one soul.

The beauty of sex is depicted on khajuraho temple in the form of various sculptures. All the

sculptures are carved on the concept taken from kamasutra. Sex is also considered as an

exercise of mind and body.
